Pharmacy Distribution · Reorder-to-Restock
Roadmap · not yet built
The reorder, the expiry date, and the stock check — caught before they cost you.
A fast-moving medicine runs low. Nobody notices until the shelf is visibly empty and a customer asks for it. Meanwhile a batch from eighteen months ago sits at the back, past its window, waiting to be written off. A field rep promises a hospital next-day delivery without knowing if the nearest stockist actually has stock.
The reality today
Where the money and the hours leak.
Reordering happens by eyeballing the shelf
Reordering relies on a visual check of empty shelves, so fast-moving medicines frequently stock out before a distributor is even called.
Expiry dates hide until they're a write-off
Expiry dates are tracked manually, so expired stock hides on a back shelf until it's a financial write-off.
Nearby stock is invisible in the moment
A rep detailing medicines to a doctor can't check real-time stock at a nearby stockist on the spot.
What we'd build
Scoped, not shipped — here's the shape of it.
- → Stock depletion tracked against a buffer, with reorder drafts triggered automatically before a stockout
- → Expiry-date alerts raised well ahead of the write-off window, not discovered on a shelf audit
- → Real-time stock visibility across locations, so a rep can promise what's actually available
- → Every reorder and reconciliation logged as one record, not a phone call
On the roadmap, not yet built: this is the same governed core configured for pharmacy distribution's specific pattern (expiry tracking, buffer-based reorder, nearby-stockist lookups) — not a live pack today. What's proven live is the underlying mechanism (stock-depletion-triggered reorder, real-time multi-location inventory) on other verticals; pharmacy-specific configuration is scoped, not shipped. Tell us your reorder rules and we'll scope the build.
The demo
a walkthrough of how a reorder threshold and an expiry alert would be configured against your actual stock rules.
